Ravi [Prasanna] is an electronics engineer who presents himself as a youthful dreamer eager to become a successful businessman. One day, on a golf course, he steps in to save Viswanath [S. P. Balasubramaniam], the CEO of Trust Bank, from a stranger who is after a bag, and in the encounter he glimpses the attacker’s face. Grateful, Viswanath offers Ravi a job at the bank and promises to back him with a loan of Rs. 2 crores to kickstart his own enterprise. The bank even markets a new branch as the “world’s safest bank,” boasting a security locker designed by Ravi himself. For five years, Ravi stays with Trust Bank, but the path to loan approval remains a frustrating puzzle, blocked time and again despite Viswanath’s personal efforts.

Ravi’s life takes a turn when he meets Nandhini [Ramya Raj], a divorced news reporter, at a golf club. Their friendship deepens into affection, and the two begin a cautious, growing romance. Yet harmony shatters when Nandhini’s ex-husband Raghu attacks Ravi during a date, forcing a counterstrike that leaves Ravi shaken. Back home, Fareed [Sibiraj], a man with a shadowy past, confronts Ravi with a terrifying claim: Ravi killed Raghu and there is damning evidence to prove it. Fareed abducts Nandhini, plunging Ravi into a dilemma where he must decide whether to go along with the robbers’ plan to save himself and his beloved.

Fareed unveils his motive: he is an ex-Trust Bank employee fired by Viswanath for alleged fund mismanagement, and his aim is vengeance against Viswanath. He also reveals that he wants Ravi’s help because Ravi is the one who understands the vault’s security system, a key factor in their scheme. The pair—Ravi and Fareed—enlist accomplices to pull off a bank heist that targets a vault protected by infrared lasers and a four-level lock system. In a bid to safeguard himself, Ravi covertly records the conversations and hands the recordings to his assistant Devaki [Yasmin Khan], seeking to secure damning evidence before the theft. The group demands Rs. 2 crores and the photographic proof of the supposed murder, a bargaining chip in their grim game.

Fareed plays his hand: he hands Ravi what looks like the demanded evidence, only to take it back and replace it with another bag. Ravi walks through the vault’s layout, detailing the entry points and security quirks that will allow Fareed and his crew to enter. However, Ravi holds a hidden exit to the vault that he can use to trap the thieves. He escapes, locks the others inside, and races to Viswanath’s side, where he is stunned to discover Nandhini there as well. The truth emerges with brutal clarity: the bank robbery was Viswanath’s plan all along, aimed at seizing the bag that contains evidence of his illicit affair with Nandhini, who is revealed to be Eswari. The mysterious stranger who photographed Viswanath and Eswari had been blackmailing Viswanath, and the evidence sits secure in Trust Bank’s locker.

To safeguard the coveted evidence, Viswanath had collaborated with Fareed—Eswari’s brother—in a scheme that would clear the path to riches. The man Ravi was led to believe was killed turns out to be a new inside man in Fareed’s gang, a betrayal that seals the chilling truth. Overwhelmed by guilt, Viswanath apologizes to Ravi and ends his own life. Fareed and Eswari are arrested, and tragedy follows as Fareed’s gang perishes inside the vault due to lack of oxygen. In the aftermath, Ravi destroys all traces of Viswanath’s illicit affair and discovers the Rs. 2 crores stashed in the back of Viswanath’s car, a sum he uses to launch a fresh start for his own business, free from the shadow of the bank’s treacheries.

Throughout this twisting, high-stakes saga, the narrative threads weave a taut tale of ambition, deception, and the fragile line between trust and betrayal, all set against a backdrop of gleaming bank halls, tense confrontations, and a romance tested by danger. The film balances suspense with personal relationships, keeping the audience guessing as loyalties shift and the true motives of each player come into sharper focus. It’s a story where a calculated plan to safeguard wealth collides with the human costs of obsession, loyalty, and the price of truth, leaving Ravi to chart a new course after the storm has passed.
