Mano, Sivakarthikeyan, a Chennai-born, middle-class young man, sits in a Paris jail as he is granted bail with help from the Indian Embassy. Before stepping out into the world again, he recounts the sequence of events that landed him behind bars, setting the stage for a story where pride, impulse, and growing feelings collide in comic and surprising ways.

A modest salesperson by trade, Mano works at KUN Hyundai, a showroom run by the wily Kuthala Sithambaram, Harish Siva. His routine life takes a wild turn when he clashes with Keerthana Vasudevan, Nayanthara, a sharp-tongued and somewhat arrogant TV producer who seems determined to keep him at arm’s length. Their encounters are charged with banter and friction, and Keerthana’s irritation only deepens as Mano’s antics poke at her nerves. In a bold, almost theatrical twist of fate, Keerthana buys the showroom not to praise it but to fire Mano, going so far as to dismiss Sithambaram and Mano’s friend Raja, Sathish, simply because they oppose her decision.

Despite the ongoing collision course between them, Mano finds himself drawn to Keerthana in unexpected ways. His feelings begin to blur the lines between irritation and attraction, even as her icy exterior resists any hint of warmth. The drama intensifies when Keerthana suffers a serious accident and Mano steps in to help, donating blood to save her life. Grateful in a complicated way, she invites him to Paris to meet her aunt and uncle, a gesture that feels like a step toward reconciliation—until it becomes a trap designed to rid him from her life. The trip exposes the darker sides of their conflict, including a vicious assault on Mano’s character as Keerthana speaks ill of his family, pushing him to lash out in anger and land him back behind bars.

In the present, after Mano’s release, he borrows the warden’s motorbike to hurry to Keerthana before he heads back home to India. The sequence takes a tense turn when he sees Keerthana being pursued by goons led by her fiancé Ashwin, Narayan Lucky. Ashwin’s reveal as a transgender man with misogynistic tendencies adds another layer of complexity to their tangled relationship. Mano steps in to protect her, staging a dramatic rescue that lets him slip away just as the danger closes in.

The ordeal triggers a crucial shift: Keerthana, moved by Mano’s courage and the genuine care he shows, begins to realize that her feelings for him run deeper than pride or anger. In the wake of this revelation, she returns to Chennai, and the two lovers navigate a path toward mutual understanding and a hopeful, if complicated, romance. The film closes on a note of reconciliation, with the possibility of a future built on trust and affection, as they confront the misunderstandings that once kept them apart.
