Motel Hell

Farmer Vincent Smith, portrayed by Rory Calhoun, alongside his younger, overweight sister Ida, played by Nancy Parsons, runs a unique operation at their farm, which features an attached motel in an unspecified Deep South state. The establishment, known as Motel Hello, suffers from a flickering sign that adds a touch of irony to its name, turning it into Motel Hell. Vincent has earned a reputation for serving the most delectable smoked meats in the region, but what patrons don’t know is that his secret ingredient is human flesh. To procure his meaty delicacies, he lures unsuspecting victims into traps surrounding the motel and entombs them in a bizarre “secret garden.” Here, the victims are deprived of their ability to scream by having their vocal cords severed, and they are fed special nourishment until Vincent is ready to harvest them for his gruesome meals.

The story unfolds with Vincent sabotaging a couple’s motorcycle by shooting out their tires, resulting in the male, Bo, becoming yet another victim in his garden.
