The film opens with a flashback centered on ACP Bose, a sincere police officer who is happily married and shares a home with his parents and his younger brother Velu Arun Vijay. Velu is a college student who soon falls in love with his classmate Anjali Sai Dhanshika. On the other side of the frame, Umapathi appears as a notorious villain whose name is synonymous with shady settlements and sprawling land deals.
