Belonging to a distinguished family in town, Laila, portrayed by Triptii Dimri, is a playful flirt known for teasing the boys who are infatuated with her. Her life takes an intriguing turn when she crosses paths with Qais Bhatt, played by Avinash Tiwary, a young man hailing from a wealthy background, setting the stage for a tumultuous tale of love and societal pressures.
Laila’s family consists of her sister, Ambreen, her father, Masood Ahmed Shahmiri, and her mother, Parveen, along with various relatives. Among Laila’s school friends are Shama and Jasmeet, who form part of her close-knit circle. On the other hand, Qais is the son of Ghulam Sarwar Bhat, a rich businessman deeply entrenched in the region’s political landscape. His brother, Zaid, grapples with the loss of their mother who passed away two decades ago. One unusual day, Laila observes that a jeep tailed her car during her journeys to and from school, a strange development that horrifies her as she notices the other boys have suddenly stopped pursuing her. She receives lavish gifts that appear mysteriously, and shopkeepers refuse to accept her money, signaling a shift in the dynamics of her social world. Confused and somewhat uneasy about the attention bestowed upon her, Laila warns Qais not to stalk her.
In the midst of family intrigue, Sarwar exploits his political influence to classify a vast stretch of land as a Green Belt, hoping to seize it for himself, a move that directly threatens the land owned by Masood. In the midst of this turmoil, Nisar Bukhari, a political figure, pressures Masood to stand against Sarwar in an upcoming election. Masood’s political assistant, Ibban, played by Sumit Kaul, is tasked with aiding him in this fight.
In a bold gesture, Qais hands Laila a note asserting he will no longer intrude upon her life, suggesting that if she desires him, she must make the first move. Destiny creates its own narrative when fate brings them together again at a wedding. Their growing affection blossoms in spite of the legal disputes weighing upon their families, as Qais openly expresses his desire to marry Laila. However, complications arise when they discover Ib
