Nomura Shuhei, portrayed by Kazuki Kitamura, is a seemingly charming and well-regarded executive in Japan, but underneath his amiable facade lies a chilling dark side that he conceals from the world. His lethal hobby involves killing individuals and documenting these heinous acts on video, which he then shares online for the world to witness, fueled by an unsettling sense of pleasure in his gruesome visibility.

Across the globe, we meet Bayu Aditya, played by Oka Antara, a struggling Indonesian journalist grappling with financial troubles and personal strife. His relentless pursuit of a notorious politician named Dharma, played by Ray Sahetapy, begins to take a toll on his marriage with his wife, Dina, beautifully portrayed by Luna Maya, leading to a dramatic unraveling of both his personal and professional life.

As Bayu becomes consumed by his challenges, he stumbles upon one of Nomura’s videos and becomes entranced by the killer’s audacious acts. Inspired, Bayu sets off on a dark transformation of his own, deciding to adopt the persona of a serial killer under the guise of seeking justice. He meticulously crafts his identity while committing his own acts of murder, eagerly sharing the footage online.

This shocking turn of events does not go unnoticed. Bayu’s chilling creations garner significant attention, echoing the responses that Nomura’s initial videos received. Consequently, a complex relationship begins to emerge between the two men, interwoven through their shared dark interests.
