In Solís, Rico meets Mira Morales, a local woman who reveals critical information about his father's involvement in the Illapa Project. This encounter serves as the catalyst for Rico's commitment to dismantling the oppressive regime led by Oscar Espinosa.

Rico discovers that his father, Miguel Rodríguez, was involved in the highly secretive Illapa Project. This weather control weapon, once intended for good, has fallen into the hands of Oscar Espinosa, who aims to weaponize it against the people of Solís.

Motivated by the need to expose Espinosa's plans, Rico partners with Mira and the Army of Chaos. This diverse group of rebels includes skilled individuals like 'Sargento', Izzy, Garland King, and Javi Huerta, each bringing unique expertise to the fight.

Rico's mission leads him to the four prototype weather cores scattered across Solís. With the help of his newfound allies, he embarks on a perilous adventure to destroy these prototypes and thwart Espinosa's dominance over the region.

During the mission, Rico learns more about his father's past and the connections to Lanza Morales and Leon Espinosa. Once colleagues in the Illapa Project, they had noble intentions, but the project derailed after Leon's death, leading Espinosa to exploit it for personal gain.

Miguel's disillusionment with Espinosa leads to his death orchestrated by the Agency, which sought to control the Illapa Project. Lanza is coerced into continuing the project, marking a dark turn in the story of the weapon meant for good.
