Boston lawyer Ben Chase is rising fast as he defends wealthy client Martin Thiel in a high‑profile murder trial. Though Thiel is acquitted, a second, eerily similar killing occurs within 24 hours. Chase astonishingly offers to represent the new suspect, using the defense role to covertly collect evidence and finally bring the true murderer to justice.
