Jingles the Clown

Jingles abducts the Nelson family and forces Angela to watch as he films himself murdering her parents and sister. Police arrive to intervene, arrest Jingles, and the sheriff executes him on the spot. He’s tossed into the trunk of a police cruiser, and Angela is led away, with Jingles winking at her.

The deputies who planned to dispose of Jingles are found butchered the next day, and Jingles is presumed to have drowned while escaping through a pit. Angela is left alive but traumatized as the case abruptly ends. The estate carries the memory of the slaughter.

Years later, Miranda, producer of Haunted Maniacs, secures access to Jingles' old home to shoot the pilot. She intends to feature Angela as a special guest on the show. The property is repurposed into a stage for new horror.

Two nights before filming, Jingles murders a pair of trespassers on the property. The killings cast a grim shadow over the impending shoot.

The Haunted Maniacs crew arrives at the estate and proceeds with the planned shoot despite Angela's anxiety and signs of Jingles' history. They set up equipment and begin work as dusk settles.

The crew discusses Jingles' history and uncovers a dark origin: his mother and grandfather's incest-born lineage. His mother killed her abusive parents with a cleaver, a deed that haunts the family.

Guy, the psychic, goes off to smoke and is killed by Jingles. Marco, the medium, senses the grisly event and warns the others.

David, the caretaker, explains the missing couple and notes that the crew's vehicles won't start. David and Jimmy decide to go to David's house to call 911.

Ghost-hunting equipment goes haywire and carnival music emanates from the stables. J.B. and Sam discover the mutilated remains of David and Jimmy.

The crew tries to flee but spots Guy's body on the path, tied to a cross and set ablaze by Jingles. Jingles taunts Angela as the group retreats back into the manor.

Jingles sneaks into the house and performs a dark ritual in the attic. Downstairs, the ghost of Amy manifests and explains that Jingles is powered by the souls of his victims and is unstoppable while he remains on the property.

Amy explains that the spirits can hold him off temporarily to allow the Haunted Maniacs crew to escape, but Angela must stay behind. The crew resolves to find and destroy the conduit that channels Jingles' power.

Jingles fatally stabs Marco, electrocutes Sam, and kills Tom with a pickaxe. The survivors realize they must locate and destroy the conduit to defeat him.

Angela, J.B., and Mia reach the attic to search for the conduit, while Miranda stays behind and is killed by Jingles. J.B. is killed by Jingles, and Angela and Mia are captured.

Jingles decapitates Mia and reveals to Angela that he had an affair with Angela's mother and is her biological father. Angela escapes, stabs Jingles in the mouth, and he falls onto the doll that kept him alive, crushing it. In the morning, Angela is found and urges that the damaged doll be destroyed, which laughs at her as a CSI walks past.
