Ramya, a kind-hearted medical student, develops a quiet crush on Madhu Balakrishnan as they interact in Earth-bound life. Their relationship begins with awkward, hesitant exchanges, and Madhu's initial reluctance to marry stems from his aging father needing care. Ramya's warmth slowly earns his respect and a glimmer of a possible future together.

Ramya's family arranges a marriage for her, and she reluctantly declines Madhu's proposal. Madhu's growing respect for her kindness suggests a life together could be possible, but social duties and family expectations pull them apart.

During a Goa trip, Madhu wins Ramya's heart anew, rekindling their connection. Yet the moment is overshadowed when Ramya's fiancé walks away over a dowry dispute, renewing heartbreak and uncertainty about their future.

The heartbreak deepens when Ramya dies in a freak accident, and soon after, Madhu's paralysed father also passes away. The losses push Madhu into a void of grief and leave his life in disarray.

Arising from the double tragedy, Madhu becomes a drifting figure in Goa, haunted by memories of his father. In a despairing moment, he follows an empty car up a hill, attempting to end his life as his world unravels.

A miraculous moment occurs when Amma's powers open a temporary inter-planetary portal linking Madhu's Goa with Maravan's Swamimalai. Maravan rescues the fainting Madhu from the car and brings him to Amma for treatment, and the people of the kingdom soon regard Madhu as an angel.

On the distant planet, Maravan, the fearless son of a noble commander, falls for Varna, a fierce working-class orphan. To win her freedom, he must fetch a lion’s skin within three days, facing legendary dangers to prove his worth.

The tyrant king condemns Varna to a harsh fate in his harem, but Amma intervenes and Varna fights for her independence. Varna’s resemblance to Ramya intensifies, and when Madhu sees her, blossoms spread across the kingdom, linking the two worlds.

To escape the king’s coercion, Varna is exiled to the forest. Maravan earns a place in military service and vows to find Varna, traveling between the forest and the kingdom as he grows more resolute.

A stormy night strains loyalties as Varna returns and Amma is captured by enemies. Maravan is ordered to be executed for housing Varna, but he remains defiant, and eventually is captured by invaders.

Madhu, Varna, and Maravan join forces to locate Amma; inspired by Ramya, Varna realizes her love for Maravan. They mount a daring rescue, Maravan defeats the invaders, and the trio escapes with Amma by boat.

In the final clash, Madhu drowns in combat, and Amma's intervention halts Varna and Maravan from sacrificing themselves for him. A new portal briefly reopens, sending Madhu to an unnamed exoplanet where he encounters a Ramya look-alike and realizes his true destiny.
