Haywire

Mallory Kane enters a diner in Upstate New York, where she is unexpectedly confronted by Aaron, a fellow operative. After a brief conversation, Aaron orders her to get into his car, but Mallory refuses, leading to a physical altercation between the two.

During the fight with Aaron, a customer named Scott intervenes, allowing Mallory to break Aaron's arm. She seizes the opportunity to escape with Scott in his car, as they begin to flee together.

As they drive, Mallory recounts her past week to Scott. Flashbacks reveal this time involved a meeting in Washington, D.C., where Mallory's ex-boyfriend Kenneth discussed a mission to rescue a hostage named Jiang.

Mallory and her team, including Aaron, travel to Barcelona to execute the rescue of Jiang. Despite facing significant challenges, they successfully extract Jiang and deliver him to the Spanish contact, Rodrigo.

Back in the U.S., Kenneth approaches Mallory with a seemingly simple task. She agrees to pose as the wife of MI6 agent Paul on a mission in Dublin, despite her reservations.

Mallory attends a party at Russborough House with Paul, observing him meet with his contact, Studer. Suspicion arises when she notices Paul’s peculiar behavior and wanders off to explore.

Mallory enters a barn after Paul leaves and is horrified to find Jiang dead, clutching the brooch Kenneth had insisted she wear. This revelation leads Mallory to understand she has been double-crossed.

Returning to their hotel room, Mallory confronts Paul, who attacks her. In an intense struggle, she gains the upper hand and kills Paul, stepping further into danger as she flees.

After escaping the hotel, Mallory evades Kenneth's agents pursuing her. She is soon confronted by heavily armed members of the Garda Emergency Response Unit, leading to a thrilling chase.

Once safe, Mallory contacts Rodrigo to confirm who betrayed her. This chain of events prompts Coblenz to reach out, revealing his suspicions about Kenneth's involvement in her betrayal.

Mallory manages to cross the border from Canada back into the United States, seeking refuge at the diner where her troubles started. But she is met by Aaron, complicating her plans.

Mallory and Scott are captured by the police after a car crash. The situation escalates as Kenneth's men ambush the police, allowing Mallory to escape with Scott.

In New Mexico, Mallory confronts her father before Kenneth arrives posing as an officer. A shootout ensues, resulting in betrayal and the death of Aaron, leaving Mallory devastated.

Mallory tracks Kenneth down to a beach in Mexico and they engage in a vicious fight. Amidst the confrontation, Kenneth confesses to orchestrating the betrayal that led to Jiang's death.

Having dealt with Kenneth, Mallory locates Rodrigo in Majorca. The film concludes with her ready to confront him, sealing her mission of vengeance against those who wronged her.
