A Force of One

As two undercover police officers accidentally uncover a suspected drug den hidden within a sporting goods store, they face a brutal attack by a masked martial artist who exhibits lethal combat skills. This tragic incident leads Officer Mandy Rust and Lieutenant Sam Dunne to enlist the help of Matt Logan, a distinguished full-contact karate champion, to equip their team with essential self-defense techniques. Logan’s motivation is deeply personal, as his adopted son, Charlie, is the child of an addict whose life was tragically cut short by an overdose.

The drug cartel, led by the devious Melrose, cleverly hides its operations within a network of sporting goods stores to distribute illegal drugs to dealers. Joining forces with Melrose is Jerry Sparks, a fierce fighter and Logan’s nemesis in the martial arts circuit who also serves as Melrose’s brutally efficient enforcer. In an unexpected turn of events, Charlie inadvertently uncovers evidence that connects Melrose to a mole within the police force—Sgt. Rollins. The truth about Rollins is finally brought to light when Mandy finds cocaine in his apartment, prompting her to confront Melrose when he brandishes a weapon.
