At midnight, Nithya's car breaks down and she seeks help from Vijay Govind. He imposes a condition that he should get a bottle of alcohol before helping. He begins narrating his story to pass the time as he helps.

Vijay visits a temple and sees Geetha, instantly feeling drawn to her. He becomes captivated by her presence and starts to imagine a connection. This marks the start of his romantic interest.

Vijay boards a bus to his hometown Kakinada and discovers that Geetha is his fellow passenger. He recognizes a chance to be near her and begins to watch her more closely. The trip marks the turning point from mere interest to pursuit.

Following a friend's advice, Vijay befriends Geetha and gradually woos her. While attempting to take a selfie with her asleep, the driver brakes suddenly, causing Vijay to accidentally kiss Geetha. Geetha wakes and feels violated, creating immediate tension.

Geetha wakes, calls her brother Phaneendra for help, and confronts Vijay about the kiss. Unable to justify himself, Vijay leaps off the moving bus and escapes before Phaneendra can retaliate. The incident leaves a cloud over their budding relationship.

Vijay attends Sirisha's engagement and is shocked to learn the groom is Phaneendra. Geetha pretends she has forgotten meeting Vijay and warns him to reform. The revelation complicates their growing tension.

With both families assigning them wedding duties, Vijay and Geetha are forced to work closely. They travel together and grow tired of each other's banter. Vijay repeatedly apologizes, but Geetha continues to blame and taunt him.

Neelu, Vijay's student, sends a provocative video after being rejected. Geetha sees it and questions Vijay's upbringing, prompting him to react violently and order her out of the car. He later checks on her, showing a more protective side.

Phaneendra travels from the village to Hyderabad to find the person who misbehaved with Geetha after an insult. His arrival unsettles Vijay as the truth about Geetha's feelings remains unsettled. The pursuit underscores the seriousness of the accusation.

During card distribution, Geetha learns from Neelu's mother that Vijay had previously barged into their home and confessed his love for Geetha. This revelation makes Geetha reassess him and she begins to fall for him.

Geetha convinces Phaneendra to return to Kakinada with the hope that life will proceed differently. Her changed feelings nourish a fresh sense of possibility.

Geetha's grandfather suffers a stroke, and her grandmother pushes for a quick marriage. Phaneendra suggests Vijay as the groom, and his family accepts the proposal. The timing tightens the emotional stakes.

Vijay learns that Phaneendra suggested him as Geetha's groom and realizes his earlier deception. Phaneendra reveals that Geetha had actually fallen in love with Vijay all along, not just him as a 'choice'. Vijay resolves to fix his mistakes but finds he cannot change Geetha's mind.

Nithya's idea is to have Vijay fall at Phaneendra's feet and beg him to marry Geetha to him until he consents. Vijay follows the plan and it succeeds, changing Geetha's heart. The gambit culminates in a renewed commitment.

With the plan in place, Geetha affirms her feelings and kisses Vijay on their bus ride home. The frame story closes as their relationship is solidified. Nithya's condition is fulfilled, and a new chapter begins.
