Gauri claims that the ₹2 crores represents the dowry money she contributed at the time of their wedding. She refuses to grant Govinda a divorce unless he returns this amount, making the separation financially devastating for him.

The dowry demand plant seeds for the later insurance fraud scheme, as Gauri had already taken out a ₹2 crore policy on herself.

Govinda's father Gopi Vishwakarma left the bungalow to Govinda and his mother Asha in his will. However, Charulata and Vishnu Vishwakarma (from Gopi's first marriage) claim they are the rightful owners and have been fighting a long legal battle. Asha pretends to be paralyzed to gain sympathy in court.

The legal dispute sets up the final twist where the bungalow becomes central to the insurance and fraud scheme.

Govinda contemplates killing his abusive wife Gauri and reaches out to Inspector Javed, an old family friend, to obtain a gun. However, Govinda cannot bring himself to pull the trigger. Javed later demands ₹2 lakhs for the gun, creating another financial burden.

The gun represents Govinda's dark impulses, which contrast with the later revelation that Gauri was never in any real danger.

After choreographing a music video for Sandy's father Ajit Dharkar's production, Govinda and Suku discover Sandy injured in his crashed car. While Sandy is unconscious, they find drugs worth crores in his car and decide to steal and sell them to resolve their financial problems.

The stolen drugs become a key component of the final conspiracy and are used to frame multiple people.

Gauri was never actually killed. The entire death was staged as part of an elaborate conspiracy. Govinda and Suku found what appeared to be Gauri's body and buried it in the garden, not knowing she was alive. Later, Govinda reveals that Gauri, Asha, Baldev, and Kaustubh orchestrated a fake death to claim insurance money and execute the larger fraud.

The maid Manju finding a broken glass with blood hints that the scene was staged rather than a real murder.

Suku had been secretly working with Vishnu Vishwakarma, feeding him information to help the bungalow case against Govinda's family. This betrayal was revealed mid-investigation when Suku aligned with Vishnu against Govinda, though Suku was ultimately outplayed by the final conspiracy.

Suku's dual allegiance sets up the final twist where Govinda reveals he knew about the betrayal all along.

Six months after the events in Mumbai, Govinda calls Suku, Vishnu, and Charulata to Thailand. They discover Govinda is living luxuriously with Asha and a very much alive Gauri. Govinda reveals that the entire plan, faking Gauri's death, stealing drugs, and manipulating everyone, was orchestrated to fleece money from multiple parties.

The earlier scene where Gauri is found dead and buried was completely fabricated.

The fake death served multiple purposes: to claim a ₹2 crore life insurance policy with Govinda as nominee, to steal the drugs from Sandy's car without suspicion, and to facilitate the bungalow sale. The entire conspiracy involved Govinda, Gauri, Asha, Baldev (Gauri's boyfriend), and their lawyer Kaustubh all working together to outmaneuver everyone else.

Baldev confronting Govinda about the insurance policy earlier was part of the staged drama to make the conspiracy believable.

Baldev, who is Gauri's actual boyfriend, confronts Govinda and accuses him of murder because Gauri had taken out a ₹2 crore life insurance policy with Govinda as the nominee. This made Govinda the obvious suspect, which was part of the conspiracy's design to direct suspicion away from the real plot.

Baldev's involvement in the conspiracy makes his accusation a calculated move rather than genuine suspicion.

Some drugs are found at Inspector Javed's residence during the investigation, shifting suspicion toward him. He was likely being framed as part of the conspiracy. The final fate of Javed is unclear, but he becomes another victim of the elaborate scheme to manipulate the police investigation.

Javed's earlier pressure on Govinda for the ₹2 lakh gun payment made him an easy target for framing.

The Vishwakarma family had already sold the bungalow to a real estate developer for ₹150 crores, expecting to profit from the legal dispute. However, it is revealed that Gopi had acquired the land illegally to build a school, which undermines their claim. Govinda and Asha sell their share to the Vishwakarmas for ₹2 crores, only for the entire scheme to be revealed as part of the larger conspiracy.

The land controversy earlier in the film sets up the complexity of the property dispute.

The twist is that Govinda, Gauri, Asha, Baldev, and lawyer Kaustubh had orchestrated an elaborate multi-layered conspiracy. They faked Gauri's death to claim insurance and drug money, manipulated both families in the bungalow dispute, and framed multiple people including Inspector Javed. In Thailand, Suku, Vishnu, and Charulata are drugged and left unconscious while Govinda and the conspirators walk away with the profits, having pulled off a massive fraud.

The entire film from the gun incident to the 'burial' was orchestrated to create chaos for the final con.
