Four years following the prior movie, Annie surprises her family with the announcement of her pregnancy. This news brings both excitement and anxiety, particularly for her father, George, who starts to reflect on the implications of becoming a grandfather.

As Annie's pregnancy progresses, George narrates his internal struggles with the idea of becoming a grandfather at his age. He becomes overwhelmed with anxiety, even taking steps to dye his hair brown and compile a list of older acquaintances.

After discovering a roof leak, George decides it is time for a change and thinks about selling the family home. He believes the house may be too much for him to handle, especially as additional problems arise.

In a bizarre twist, termites invade George and Nina's house just two weeks after George's decision to sell. Without discussing it with Nina, George impulsively sells their home to the Habibs, throwing their plans into disarray.

During a seemingly normal dinner, George drops the bombshell that their house has been sold, catching Nina off guard. Outraged by the news, Nina feels unprepared for the move, leaving them with only ten days to vacate.

With no other options, George and Nina temporarily move into the mansion of Bryan's parents while they are away. This transition introduces new stresses for George as he deals with the MacKenzies' intimidating Dobermans, reminiscent of a past scare.

In a shocking turn of events, Nina reveals that she is also pregnant. This unexpected twist adds to George's mounting anxiety, as they now must navigate impending parenthood together once again.

After learning about their pregnancies, George and Nina have a heated exchange about the future. George’s worries about aging surface as he feels unfit to be a father again, leading to a confrontation with Nina who expresses her frustrations.

While out for a walk, George is horrified to see a demolition crew ready to destroy their old house. Fearing for its sentimental value, he rushes to plead with Mr. Habib to reconsider and is given the option to buy it back.

Reluctantly, George agrees to Mr. Habib's terms, paying $100,000 to reclaim their home. George and Nina move back in, securing a place filled with memories as they embrace their new realities.

After a tiff with Bryan, Annie arrives at the Banks' house discussing a coveted job opportunity in Boston. Despite Bryan's hesitation about the move with the new baby on the way, George encourages Annie to pursue her dreams.

With Annie and Nina's due dates approaching, George hires Franck to organize a joint baby shower. The chaos of managing the two pregnancies requires George to juggle responsibilities, increasing his stress levels.

As anticipation builds, Bryan is called to Japan for an emergency meeting, leaving Annie under George and Nina's care. The absence of Bryan leads to increased pressure on George and the family as they navigate the last stretch of both pregnancies.

The moment arrives as both Nina and Annie go into labor simultaneously. Franck takes charge, driving the family to the hospital, with George finally coming to terms with the chaotic yet joyous events unfolding.

In a heartfelt ending, both Annie and Nina give birth to their children, with George holding the newborns. The family celebrates this new chapter as they prepare for Annie and her baby to head off to Boston.
