As the Banks family embarks on a new chapter, Annie excitedly reveals to her husband George that she is expecting, triggering a whirlwind of anxiety and self-doubt within him. Overwhelmed by memories from the past nine months of pregnancy with their children, George starts to worry about becoming a grandfather at a rather young age. In a desperate attempt to recapture his youth, he dyes his hair brown and tasks his assistant with creating a list of people older than him, while also contemplating the sale of their family home amid a series of unfortunate events, such as a leaky roof and a termite infestation that surprisingly emerge shortly after.

George’s decision to sell the house without the knowledge or agreement of Nina leads to a cascade of chaos. During a family dinner, he nonchalantly reveals his plans, leaving Nina in shock as they are suddenly confronted with the possibility of vacating their home in just ten days without any alternative living arrangements. The Banks family subsequently finds themselves staying with Bryan’s affluent parents, where they must adapt to life alongside a pair of energetic Dobermans that have always vexed George.

As Nina begins to experience signs that suggest impending menopause, their visit to the doctor delivers an astonishing revelation: Nina is also pregnant. This unexpected twist introduces a range of emotions for the couple, especially when they encounter Franck, Annie’s former wedding planner, who is elated at the thought of two new additions to the family.

Amidst this turn of events, George’s initial happiness soon transforms back into anxiety and doubt about his capability to take on the role of father once more. His reluctance peaks during a visit to Annie and Bryan’s home when Nina confronts him regarding his thoughtlessness and ultimately prohibits him from returning home. As George strolls through familiar streets, his heart sinks at the sight of demolition crews surrounding their childhood home. This nostalgic residence, filled with cherished memories, is now on the verge of destruction. Desperate to save it, George rushes inside to plead with Mr. Habib to spare the house, passionately arguing that it holds significant sentimental value, especially as he prepares to be a father once again. Surprisingly, Mr. Habib agrees to let George buy the house back, but only if he can come up with $100,000 upfront. With a heavy heart, George complies, and the Bankses reclaim their beloved home.

As Nina and Annie navigate their overlapping pregnancies, they require constant attention from George. When Bryan is unexpectedly called away for an emergency meeting in Japan, leaving Annie in their care, family dynamics shift dramatically. To mend fences with Nina, George organizes a joint baby shower for the two mothers-to-be, a thoughtful gesture that he hopes will provide some comfort during this exciting yet tumultuous time.

Meanwhile, Franck takes ovem and spruces up Nina and George’s nursery, transforming it into a lavish “baby suite.” As exhaustion sets in from the hectic days, George’s lack of sleep becomes increasingly noticeable. When Franck offers him Vatsnik, a potent sleep aid from his homeland, George succumbs to temptation, taking two pills that end up being too many. As dinner approaches, he collapses, causing the family to spiral into a state of worry. The atmosphere escalates to a fever pitch when Annie’s labor pains escalate, sending the household into utter chaos.

As the family’s situation grows more dire, Franck takes the lead, guiding them to the hospital with a bewildered George in tow. George’s confusion is momentarily alleviated when he is mistakenly identified as a patient in need of a prostate exam. Shortly after they arrive, Nina’s labor indicates it’s time for the family to welcome a new chapter in life.

Initially skeptical of the substitute obstetrician stepping in due to the absence of their regular doctor, George slowly warms up to the new arrangement. Despite his hope to have his grandchildren delivered by the very same physician who once welcomed him and Bryan into the world, he comes to accept the situation. As hours pass, Bryan returns just in time to support Annie as she gives birth to a boy they name George, while Nina celebrates the arrival of a baby girl named Megan.

Holding his newborn grandson and granddaughter, a wave of joy washes over George, marking the conclusion of his tumultuous journey. Life takes another turn later on when Bryan and Annie decide to move to Boston, spurred by Annie’s new career opportunity – a decision that significantly alters the course of their lives.
