A serial killer sets ablaze a lifeless body on a desolate street, marking the start of a murderous spree that soon claims six victims. ACP Ranjith Kumar is initially assigned to the case, but a road accident leaves him in a coma, stalling his investigation. With Ranjith out of the picture, ACP Aravindan steps in to take over the case.

ACP Aravindan teams up with Sub-inspector Manoharan to begin the investigation into the serial killings. They pool their resources and set up the initial case briefing, pursuing leads and cross-checking victim profiles. The team starts tracing patterns across the early victims.

Investigators uncover an ankle-surgery plate on one victim, allowing them to shortlist seven suspects by age. Sudhakar surfaces as a prime suspect due to his ankle surgery history, tying him to the plate in the killer’s pattern. The search widens to include the remaining candidates connected to Twin Birds School.

During interrogation, Sudhakar and Meera reveal they are actually Surendhar and Tara, who had impersonated their twins. They disclose that their twins were coerced to kill by a masked stranger to save their siblings. Realizing the deception, the investigators push deeper into the twins’ past.

Aravindan learns that the twins’ lives are intertwined through Twin Birds Matriculation School. The investigation considers Benjamin as the possible mastermind behind the killings tying the school to the pattern. The revelation shifts focus toward a student-era figure connected to the school’s history.

Aravindan consults Shanthi, the school’s correspondent, who recounts Benjamin and Francis’ upbringing at Twin Birds School. She describes Francis’s nyctophobia and the fatal epileptic seizure that followed after being locked in a dark lab, an event Benjamin could not prevent. The tragedy, the school’s cover-up by Ravi, and the later fire that destroyed the school loom large in the motive web.

With the backstory in hand, Aravindan discovers that Benjamin targets twins on their birthdays. He moves to shield the remaining twins—Sanjana, Anjana, Dheeran, and Dheeraj—though Dheeran and Dheeraj are currently unreachable. The clock is ticking as the next birthday approaches for the at-risk pairs.

The investigators find a charred corpse believed to be Dheeran, a discovery that deepens the mystery. Ranjith reveals that his coma was not an accident but a preplanned murder attempt that was narrowly averted. The killer’s maneuvering around the hospital adds another layer of danger to the case.

Benjamin is revealed to visit Francis’s cemetery every death anniversary, a ritual that pulls Aravindan toward a decisive confrontation. In a tense chase, Aravindan discovers that Manohar has been secretly masquerading as Benjamin. The pursuit pushes into the city as the stakes rise.

In a dramatic turn, Aravindan realizes that he himself is Benjamin, the orchestrator of the plan and the killer hiding in plain sight. A brutal confrontation ensues as Sanjana tries to protect Anjana and Aravindan’s true identity is finally exposed. The chaos ends with Benjamin’s reluctant surrender and a high-tension standoff.

Benjamin confesses to Ranjith that he pursued an IPS career to avenge Francis’s death by killing the ten twins who were responsible. He admits to staging the road accident to distract Ranjith and to manipulating Manohar to serve his plan. The revelation exposes a meticulously plotted vendetta.

Benjamin murders Dheeran in prison and then reveals he had burned an unknown corpse to present as Dheeran, ensuring his own alibi and control over the investigation. He donates his heart to Manohar, fulfilling his final wish, and is buried near Francis’s grave after brain-dead pills claim his life. The case closes with Manohar honoring the sacrifice.
