Deva ends up in jail because, after killing Rohan to prevent him from exposing Deva’s betrayal, he later almost confesses to his crime when he sees proof that Rohan had changed his mind and was planning to clear his name instead of incriminating Deva. Rohan’s girlfriend even records a video showing that Rohan intended to reveal Deva as the real hero, prompting Deva to confess everything to Farhan. However, before he could be taken into custody, Deva suffers an accident that causes him to lose his memory. Farhan, wanting to protect Deva, chooses not to reveal his earlier confession. Instead, he encourages Deva to revisit the case on his own, secretly gathering evidence against Deva’s own involvement. It is only later, through a series of revelations and an overheard conversation, that Deva realizes the truth—that he was the one who shot and killed Rohan. With this realization, Deva fully accepts his guilt and chooses to face the consequences. He confesses his crime officially in prison, where he appears more at peace, having come to terms with what he has done. In prison, Deva maintains his fighting spirit, standing up to attacking inmates and showing that, despite everything, he still embodies the law in his own way—his character unchanged in essence, even behind bars. The film closes with Deva seemingly reclaiming a sense of inner clarity, even if he no longer wears the police uniform, revealing that the soul of a law enforcer remains within him, undisturbed.
