Daphne Blake enjoys a perfect morning at home, preparing for her first day at Ridge Valley High. She shares her excitement about moving and her new school with her web audience, highlighting her anticipation and anxiety. Her morning sets the tone for her transition into a new environment and new challenges.

Daphne begins her first day at her new school, where she is quickly introduced to the school's extensive advanced technology by her senior advisor Carol. She also encounters Velma, who seems distant, and witnesses a student named Spencer acting in an unnervingly trance-like manner. The day marks her initial immersion into the school's mysterious atmosphere.

At home, Daphne's father reveals that he has been overly protective, trying to make her life 'perfect' by sheltering her and following her closely. Daphne feels frustrated by his controlling behavior and vows to become independent and handle her life on her own. This confrontation highlights her desire for autonomy.

Daphne and Velma have a heated argument regarding their science project, which Velma intentionally sabotaged. The disagreement leads to their being sent to the principal's office, where they are temporarily separated. During the conflict resolution, Velma confesses she was trying to protect Daphne by hiding the strange happenings at school.

Daphne and Velma observe Spencer acting unnaturally robotic, leading them to suspect another student, Griffin Griffiths. They follow Griffin, who also enters a locker and seemingly disappears, deepening the mystery of the students' disappearances. Their suspicion shifts as they question the true culprit.

To get closer to the Bloom internship, Velma aims to rise in the Bloom Bracket, a competitive ranking for students. Daphne helps Velma by sabotaging other students, including Mikayla, currently at the top. Their efforts succeed in elevating Velma to second place, but Mikayla remains unchallenged at the top due to her extracurricular activities.

When their sabotage plan fails, Daphne and Velma attempt a backup by cutting power to Mikayla’s art exhibit. Instead of achieving their goal, they encounter a cloaked ghost at the exhibit. This supernatural presence suggests a deeper mystery involving the school's secrets.

While escaping from the ghost, Daphne and Velma discover a hidden room in the school. They realize the ghost is actually Daphne's father in a bathrobe, trying to follow her protectively. This revelation helps clarify his intentions and shifts their approach to the mystery.

Daphne and Velma learn that Tobias Bloom is behind the students' disappearances, with his company headquarters as the key location. They infiltrate Bloom Innovative and discover that Bloom is a hologram, revealing a sinister plan to kidnap students and steal ideas under cover of technological advancement.

Inside the headquarters, the girls find Carol, who admits she created Bloom Innovative and posed as a student to steal ideas and seek wealth. Her plan is thwarted as she is apprehended by the police, revealing the true mastermind behind the schemes and the kidnapping plot.

The school undergoes a reformation, and Daphne and Velma reunite with Mikayla and Spencer, celebrating the resolution of the mystery. The students begin to recover from the strange events, and the school community moves forward with a renewed sense of safety.

Daphne and Velma return home to find their computer screen hacked by what appears to be a real phantom, who warns them to stay away from the investigations. Despite the eerie threat, the girls remain undeterred and decide to continue uncovering the truth about the supernatural occurrences.
