Pete Riley [Taylor Handley], a 17-year-old who thrives as the assistant manager of a bustling 26-screen megaplex, lives for the thrill of premieres and the buzz of the late-night crowd. The cinema’s grand opening night for the Hollywood blockbuster Midnight Mayhem looms, and the star-studded event is supposed to crown the theater as the place to be. At the center of this hustle is Pete’s pride in keeping the operation smooth, organized, and on schedule. Meanwhile, the legend of a phantom—a restless spirit said to haunt the old theater that once stood where the megaplex now sits—haunts the rumor mill, adding a chill to the air and a strange sense of history to the night.

The megaplex’s enigmatic owner, Wolfgang Nedermayer [Colin Fox], is planning to rub elbows with the biggest names in film, but the guest list comes with a personal sting: Pete must bring along his younger siblings, Karen [Caitlin Wachs] and Brian [Jacob Smith], since their widowed mother has different plans for the evening. The siblings bring their own energy to the scene—Karen brimming with curiosity and a streak of mischief, and Brian quietly observant, soaking in every detail of the premiere setup.
