In Los Angeles, Dean operates Turbo Elite Ambulance, one of several ambulance services in the city. Unfortunately, Dean's fleet is limited to just two aging vehicles and a trio of employees. Once a firefighter like many in his family, an injury has altered his path.
During a routine night shift, Dean and Eric respond to an emergency call in their ambulance, dubbed Danger One. Upon arrival, they find a man injured and no police presence.
