Danger One

In Los Angeles, Dean operates Turbo Elite Ambulance with a limited fleet of two aging vehicles. As a former firefighter, an injury has changed his career path, leaving him in a challenging situation with his small team.

During a routine night shift, Dean and Eric respond to an emergency call with their ambulance, Danger One. Upon arriving at the scene, they find an injured man but no police presence, leading to an unusual situation.

An aggressive man is initially denied entry to the ambulance, creating a tense atmosphere. After losing a fight to one of the EMTs, he is reluctantly allowed to join them, escalating the already precarious situation.

Eric struggles with the weight of his home life, as his partner Val expresses frustration over his frequent absences. With their children Nora and Sam falling ill, the pressure mounts as Val's maternity leave comes to an end.

Craddock meets Rami at the airport, bonding over classical music, until he senses they are being followed. This suspicion prompts him to drive dangerously fast to evade whoever is tracking them.

Back at the garage, Dean refuses a long-distance call, but a crucial emergency call soon comes in. Dean gives Eric a ‘promotion’ with no real benefits, highlighting the lack of support within the team.
