Cruella

Estella is born in 1950s England, distinguished by her unique dual-colored hair due to a rare condition known as poliosis. As a child, she faces ridicule at school for her hair and rebellious attitude, yet her mother Catherine encourages her creativity and love for fashion.

In search of a new beginning, Estella and her mother Catherine relocate to London. This move is hoped to provide Estella with a fresh start and opportunities to explore her passion for fashion.

During a party hosted by Baroness von Hellman, Estella is left in the car with Buddy, her dog. When she chases after Buddy, she witnesses a tragic scene where the Baroness's Dalmatians attack her mother, resulting in Catherine's death.

Convinced that she is responsible for her mother's death, Estella takes Buddy and escapes into the city, leaving behind her mother’s treasured necklace. Alone in a vast metropolis, she struggles to find her place.

While navigating the streets of London, Estella meets street kids Jasper and Horace along with their one-eyed dog, Wink. They welcome her into their group, and Estella begins to change her hair color to red, embracing a new identity.

Fast forward to 1974, Estella matures into an adult while continuing to engage in petty crimes with Jasper and Horace. She also develops her fashion skills, blending her artistic flair with survival strategies in the city.

On her 22nd birthday, Jasper and Horace secure Estella a janitorial job at a prominent fashion store. However, her creative input is soon disregarded, and she feels her potential is being wasted.

One fateful night during a late shift, Estella has a chance encounter with the Baroness. Impressed by Estella's spontaneous window display makeover, the Baroness invites her to join her prestigious team of designers, marking a pivotal moment in Estella's life.

While working for the Baroness, Estella discovers her mother's necklace being worn by her mentor. This revelation enrages her, igniting a desire for revenge against the Baroness for her past.

In her quest for vengeance, Estella adopts the alter ego 'Cruella.' She executes a heist to reclaim her mother's necklace, disrupting a high-profile event and coming face-to-face with memories of her mother and the Baroness.

As Cruella's schemes progress, she begins to openly mock the Baroness with eccentric fashion statements. Utilizing her childhood friend Anita Darling, she amplifies her media presence and intensifies her rivalry with the Baroness.

The rivalry culminates at a grand fashion show in Regent's Park, where the Baroness realizes the true identity of Cruella. This high-stakes encounter leads to dramatic confrontations and ultimate repercussions for both women.

Just when Estella's hopes seem dim, John, the Baroness’s valet, reveals that she is actually the Baroness's daughter. This shocking revelation inspires Estella to fully embrace her Cruella persona and seek retribution.

In a climactic scene at a lavish party, Cruella confronts the Baroness with evidence of her true heritage. A confrontation ensues, leading to the Baroness's arrest and solidifying Cruella as a formidable figure in the fashion world.

In a cheeky mid-credits scene, Cruella delivers two Dalmatian puppies to Roger and Anita, hinting at her future connection to the story of '101 Dalmatians.' This gesture highlights her transformation and foreshadows her legacy in fashion and villainy.
