After a tragic car accident claims the life of the driver, Stacy, alongside Walker and Gage, find themselves trapped in a vehicle outside a dilapidated warehouse. Their immediate goal is to explore the premises for an alternative escape route. As they venture deeper inside, they stumble upon a locker room where Gage starts rummaging through various lockers, uncovering illicit drugs, medical supplies, and testosterone. The tension escalates as Gage discovers a lifeless body belonging to the dog’s handler, along with a menacing Presa Canario, which roams this dog fighting den.

Throughout the harrowing events, haunting flashbacks reveal the grim past of the fighting dog and its brutal owner, Blue, who has relentlessly trained the animal through cruel methods. As the threat looms, Gage succumbs to his addiction by injecting heroin within the locker room before a frantic chase ensues when he begs to return for his drugs. The wild dog attacks, leaving both Walker and Gage injured in its wake. In their dire circumstances, Gage shares poignant memories of his first dog, only to tragically overdose soon after.

In a desperate bid for survival, Stacy resolves to find the vehicle keys to escape with the injured Walker, who refuses medical help. During his perilous search, Stacy encounters the aggressive dog, forcing him to take refuge inside a piano. In a tense moment, he decides to lift the piano off the trapped animal, ultimately earning its trust. With newfound determination, Stacy retrieves Walker and makes a break for the vehicle. However, their escape is thwarted when Blue appears and opens fire on Walker.

A chaotic chase ensues through the warehouse as Stacy dodges bullets from Blue. They ultimately find themselves in the gruesome dog fighting arena, where Blue delivers a chilling monologue. In a heart-wrenching moment, the fighting dog recognizes both its abuser, Blue, and its savior, Stacy. In the chaos that follows, Blue attempts to shoot the dog, leading to a fierce confrontation. Although the dog is gravely injured, it manages to retaliate, fatally wounding Blue before sacrificing itself.

In the aftermath, Stacy comforts the dying dog, whispering words of solace, telling it that everything will be alright. The film concludes with a poignant scene of Stacy walking along a beach, accompanied by a new puppy, symbolizing hope after tragedy. The movie is dedicated to Molly, the titular dog, who was not just a companion but a beloved teacher and friend.
