Ten years after the events of Adulthood, Sam Peel lives a quieter life with his girlfriend Kayla and their two children. He also continues to financially support Alisa and her teenage daughter. The calm is a fragile anchor, built on a past that never fully disappears.

While going about his day, Sam overhears a young woman describe an attack by a man named Mooks. The story hints at a criminal network still operating and a danger that could pull Sam back into violence.

Royston is gunned down by a shooter named Drew, who leaves behind an envelope addressed to Sam. Henry, one of Royston’s bandmates, explains that Drew was hired to target Royston, deepening the sense that Sam’s old world is not done with him.

Henry hands Sam an envelope with a single address and insists he must go alone. Sam accepts the burden, stepping toward a dangerous confrontation without family backup. The mission feels intensely personal and karmic.

On the way to the address, Sam meets Janette, who spills coffee and then seduces him while recording the encounter. The tawdry seduction foreshadows deception and hints that Sam cannot trust appearances.

Sam enters the mansion but is immediately outnumbered and beaten. He’s taken to the basement where Curtis, Trife’s uncle, reveals a personal vendetta and a plan to exact revenge.

Henry arrives to rescue Sam, and in the chaos Hugs stabs a thug as a warning to the others. The escape attempt reinforces that Sam is not alone, even as the danger closes in.

Sam calls Kayla to urge her to hide their family, but she discovers a DVD of Sam’s encounter with Janette and, overwhelmed by betrayal, leaves him. The personal betrayal strains their fragile relationship.

Sam seeks help from his old friend Buds, now a detective, but Buds cannot enter the mansion without a warrant. The obstruction delays any immediate action against the criminals.

Daley orders Curtis to hurt Sam's family, while Curtis and Hugs secretly plot to kill Daley and seize control. The power struggle within the criminal world destabilizes everyone involved.

Mrs. Peel witnesses Janette being attacked and brings her inside. As Janette texts someone, Mrs. Peel lets in Curtis and Hugs, who kill Mrs. Peel, turning Sam’s world even darker and triggering his arrest.

At Royston’s funeral, Royston reveals he’s moving to America with his pregnant fiancée. Sam and Kayla have sex afterward, but Kayla refuses to reconcile until Sam ends his involvement with Curtis and Daley.

Brick and Calvin reveal that they, along with Sariya, want revenge on Mooks for raping Sariya. Sam and Henry begin tracking down Daley's henchmen, and Yardz is convinced to leave Mooks’ orbit.

Sam storms Daley's estate with Hassan, Henry, Brick, Sariya and Calvin. Daley fatally stabs Hugs and escapes, but police arrive as Sam overpowers the conspirators; Curtis is shot dead, and Daley is revealed to be Mooks. Sam retrieves the money bag after Brick shoots Mooks.

Safely away from immediate danger, Sam divides the money with Royston, Alisa and everyone who helped him. Buds, now outside the case, warns him to stay out of trouble but remains a friend.
