Petr begins a trainee position in theft prevention at a grocery store. His supervisor criticizes him for being conspicuous, and when he suspects a man of stealing he is too nervous to confront him and simply follows him instead. He returns home where his father questions his inaction and scolds him for not taking decisive action.
