A black comedy that follows three decades of a modest Czech family after the Velvet Revolution, channeling Michal Viewegh’s dark humor. Director Petr Nikolaev and writer Jan Novak shift the focus from Kvido to his parents: Milena, a modest lawyer who performs on stage, and Ales, an aimless civil servant. Their lives are upended by the 1968 Russian invasion of Prague.
