In Ohio, 1995, young Natasha Romanoff and her surrogate sister Yelena Belova play together. Their bonding is interrupted when Yelena scrapes her knee, prompting them to seek care from their 'mother', Melina Vostokoff.

The family receives startling news from 'father' Alexei Shostakov that they must leave immediately. As they prepare to board a plane, SHIELD agents close in, prompting a desperate attempt to escape, during which Natasha takes control of the aircraft after Melina is shot.

After arriving in Cuba, they are attacked again, leading to Natasha defending Yelena with a soldier's gun. Unfortunately, both sisters are captured and taken to the Red Room to undergo intense training and harsh procedures.

A montage shows Natasha and Yelena, along with other girls, enduring rigorous training at the Red Room. This experience transforms them into lethal Black Widow agents, deeply shaping their futures.

Twenty-one years later, Natasha, now an adult, finds herself on the run after violating the Sokovia Accords. General Ross and his team corner her, but she manages an escape before they can capture her.

In Morocco, Yelena tracks down her target, Oksana, leading to a deadly confrontation. After realizing she has killed her friend under mind control, she breaks free and begins to recover a lethal gas that can protect her.

Two weeks after their mission, Natasha, now sporting blonde hair, meets Rick to secure a jet for her next mission. She plans to reunite with the Avengers, signaling the start of a new chapter in her life.

In a post-credits scene set in 2024, Yelena, now with a new dog, visits Natasha's grave to mourn her sister's sacrifice. She is confronted by Valentina, who offers her a new mission related to Natasha's past.
