Barney, cackling with a false sense of victory, is then incapacitated by Will, who uses a speaker to press it against Barney’s chest, triggering a pacemaker failure that appears to finish him off. Yet the danger isn’t over: Paige’s nerves fray when she notices the bee stings on Paige’s own arm, and she tries to turn the tables on Will by knocking out Aggo and throwing him overboard.
In a final clash of wits, Will manages to overpower Paige and eventually drags her into the water, where she drowns.
