However, one fateful night transformed Sean’s life when he stumbled upon the lavish estate of Cale Erendreich (David Tennant), where he discovered a young woman named Katie (Kerry Condon) being held captive. Though he hesitated at first to act, Sean ultimately chose to alert the authorities to Katie’s dire situation. Regrettably, the police were unable to gather sufficient evidence to confirm her abduction, prompting Sean to take the initiative and file a missing persons report with the FBI.

In the shadows, Cale seethed with rage over Sean’s knowledge of Katie’s plight and plotted a meticulously devised revenge plan to dismantle Sean’s life.
