After several attempts to connect, Dagini asks him to meet at a place she will hint at during a live radio session. He spends the day listening intently to her program and, through careful listening and intuition, traces the clue to a location—the train station. Dagini waits there, hopeful, but a sad twist arrives when the psycho-killer turns up. She tries to flee, yet he manages to sedate her. Gautham reaches the scene just in time but cannot intervene in the brutal moment because his blindness blinds him to the danger in front of him. Still, his other senses sharpen, and he detects something deeply wrong through a keen sense of smell in the air, a small but telling hint that something horrific has taken place.

The next day, a grim police briefing reveals a chilling tally: 14 girls have been abducted, 13 of whom were murdered, and the 14th—Dagini—has vanished into the killer’s hands. In a fierce struggle, Gautham manages to cuff the killer’s leg, buying precious seconds for a escape. He and Dagini make a break for freedom, accompanied by Kamala, and the trio flees from the danger. The killer’s fury streaks after them, but the pursuit is interrupted when the killer’s imprisoned former teacher—who had subjected him to relentless punishment—grabs the key to unlock the cuffs and swallows it, a stark act of cruel punishment that only intensifies the chase.
