In a world ripped apart by an epidemic, almost everyone has fallen to infected beings who resemble a cross between vampires and zombies, leaving humanity with only a narrow margin for survival and a constant sense of peril. Tao, Steven Seagal, leads a small crew of vampire/zombie hunters who press into a hospital that has become a fragile last refuge. Inside, the remaining people are scattered, scared, isolated, and wary of one another, their nerves taut as the threat outside grows louder with every passing hour.
As the group threads through the hospital’s labyrinth, they drift apart again and again, losing their bearings, fighting off lurking dangers, and contending with the claustrophobic corridors that seem to close in at every turn. The situation is made harsher by the outside clock: a massive army base has orders to bomb the area at dawn, turning a desperate escape into a race against time.
