During a lecture series, Rahab explains that he came back to India to contribute and that he never felt at home in the U.S.A. The talk frames his motives against rising nationalist sentiment and hints at the danger looming over those who oppose the politics of the moment. The speech foreshadows the personal stakes for him and others.

Nivi accuses Vikram Singh of cowardice and complicity in the violence surrounding the rally. Meanwhile, Gyan Singh calls a local police officer and orders Chandan's elimination, pressing Vikram to secure his political future. The family feud over loyalty and power deepens the crisis.
