Mike Fallon kills Archie Rudd, completing another assassination framed as an accident. The hit triggers a call from Milton to assign him new missions within the assassin network. Milton instructs Mike to collect his payment in an alley, underscoring the covert, transactional nature of his work.

Milton lays out Mike's next set of assignments, tightening the pattern of hits and payments. He tells Mike to receive the payment in an alley, a ritual that cements the clandestine business that governs their world.

As Mike goes to collect his payment, an amateur assassin ambushes him. Mike easily overpowers the intruder, exposing the danger lurking behind the veneer of routine assignments.

Mike accuses Milton of setting him up, but Milton denies involvement. The denial seeds doubt and fuels Mike's growing suspicion that something bigger is at play.

Mike learns Beth has been murdered in a botched burglary, and she was pregnant with his child. He steals the police report and uncovers clues pointing to Mick and Mac as the killers. The discovery hardens Mike's resolve to uncover who ordered Beth's hit.

Mike directly accuses Mick and Mac, and they confess to Beth's murder while denying any knowledge of the client who contracted them.

A violent confrontation follows as Mike defeats Mick and Mac. Big Ray reminds him never to let personal emotions bleed into his work.

Mike goes to Beth's apartment to press Charlie about Beth's enemies. Cliff breaks in and attacks Charlie, and Mike inadvertently kills Cliff during the ensuing struggle.

Mike tortures Milton to extract who ordered Beth's murder. The confession reveals Leonard Kent as the man behind the hit.

Big Ray reluctantly orders a hit on Mike for killing Cliff. The internal tension intensifies as the elder figure enforces discipline.

A flashback reveals 15-year-old Mike, a bullied paperboy, who notices a man walk away from a house that explodes. He records and spies on him, then blackmails the man into teaching him to become an assassin. Big Ray takes him on as an apprentice, and Mike's first kill is the bullies' leader. Ray keeps incriminating photographs and warns Mike never to betray him.

Back in the present, Charlie reveals Beth had gathered information on the corrupt Indian oil company Pankot Petroleum, provided by Archie Rudd. Kent reveals a recording showing someone ordering Beth's murder.

Mick and Mac arrive and kill Leonard Kent, escalating the conspiracy. Mac is killed by friendly fire, and Mike bludgeons Mick with a fire extinguisher.

Pete ambushes Mike outside the building, but Mike kills him easily. He heads to Atal Zim's house, where he kills Jane with her own katana and decapitates Zim.

Mike exposes the remaining portions of Kent's recording and Milton's orders. Milton applies a bandage and slowly dies from the poisoning. Big Ray allows Mike to leave, but warns him never to return to Oasis as a vigilante.
