Milton wants Mike to collect his payment in a dark alley, a quiet reminder that this life operates by code and consequence. But as Mike steps into the shadows to collect his due, he’s tested by an amateur assassin who tries to interrupt the exchange. Mike disposes of the intruder with ease, and the encounter leaves him with a gnawing suspicion that someone is trying to set him up.

Soon after, Mike learns that his ex-girlfriend Beth has been murdered in a botched burglary, and she was pregnant with his child. The revelation hits hard, and the timing could not be worse: the supposed killers overdosed after the fact, which raises a troubling possibility—that this hit may be tied to someone who wanted Beth silenced for a larger reason. Back in the present, Charlie reveals Beth had gathered information on Pankot Petroleum, a corrupt Indian oil company, with the help of Archie Rudd. Mike confronts Kent, who hands over a recording of another man ordering Beth’s death. The moment escalates as Mick and Mac arrive, and Kent is killed in the ensuing confrontation; Mac dies in a fatal case of friendly fire, and Mike uses a fire extinguisher to incapacitate Mick. The violence is unyielding, and the line between hunter and hunted grows thinner with every blow.

Pete makes a bold move, ambushing Mike outside, but Mike dispatches him with ease. He chooses a rare mercy for Finnicky Fred, knocking him out to keep the peace and prevent a larger bloodbath, and then heads to the home of Kent’s employer, oil magnate Atal Zim. Back at Oasis, the final act unfolds. Mike exposes Milton by playing the rest of Kent’s recording, which proves Milton ordered the hit on Mike and orchestrated a chain of assassinations to clean up loose ends. Enraged, Big Ray assaults Milton in a volatile confrontation that mirrors the violence around Oasis for years. In a grim sign of twisted mercy, Mike offers Milton a band-aid that Fred had developed to counter poisoning, a small, stark reminder of the fragile human glue that holds this dark world together. Milton succumbs, and Big Ray tells Mike to leave Oasis behind—not to return—before Mike steps away from the bar’s glow.
