Aadhavan

In the US, an unknown client hires a mafia group to eradicate a fake godman. The Kolkata-based middleman passes the contract to Ibrahim Rowther, who arranges the hit. The godman is killed by Ibrahim's adopted son Aadhavan, and this act launches Aadhavan into high-demand mercenary work across the world.

The Kolkata middleman delivers the contract to Ibrahim Rowther for the hit on the godman. Ibrahim coordinates with his crew and stages the operation. The success of the hit further cements Aadhavan's reputation as a ruthless enforcer.

With the godman slain, Aadhavan begins taking contracts across different regions, exploiting his lethal skills. He is effectively marked as a top enforcer for hire by operatives around the world. This sets up his ability to invade a Mumbai assignment later.

In Mumbai, Dr. Abdul Kulkarni hires Aadhavan to eliminate Subramaniam, a judge overseeing Abdul's kidnapping and organ-trafficking case. Aadhavan fails to snipe Subramaniam and is rebuked by Kulkarni. He vows to kill Subramaniam within ten days and starts planning to infiltrate Subramaniam's household.

Aadhavan slowly wins over Subramaniam's mother, Thara, and other relatives. Thara is intrigued by his intellect and apparent innocence. They keep their growing bond secret from Subramaniam and Ilaiyaman as tension builds.

During a family trip to Darjeeling, Thara asks Aadhavan to hide Ilaiyaman's guitar. Aadhavan plants a mobile bomb in the guitar and places it in a car, but the explosion occurs at an opportune moment. The incident destabilizes trust within the household and escalates danger.

A security chief keeps briefing Kulkarni about Aadhavan's movements. Thara becomes suspicious; after a secret talk, Aadhavan reveals he is really Madhavan, Subramaniam's long-lost son. Thara shares the truth with the rest of the household, and they react with a mix of joy and disbelief.

In a flashback, 10-year-old Madhavan gifts a doll containing a bomb to Thara's birthday. The doll's blast kills Anu and Thara's father, triggering Subramaniam's anger and Madhavan's flight. Madhavan steals a gun to avoid juvenile prison, accidentally shoots Subramaniam, and flees, later killing the gangster's mother. He saves Ibrahim Rowther from attackers, and is rechristened as Aadhavan.

Ibrahim's son Tharani attempts to kill Subramaniam, but Madhavan intervenes and reveals his true identity to protect the judge and Thara. Kulkarni threatens further violence, and Madhavan and Subramaniam seize control by taking Thara and Subramaniam hostage, while Madhavan steals the ACP's gun and disables guards.

The police commissioner arrests the ACP, revealing he was Kulkarni's man, and acknowledges Madhavan's prior capture after his first attempt. Madhavan cooperates to help bring down linked criminal and terrorist networks, solidifying Subramaniam's safety and respect for Madhavan.

Kulkarni attacks the trio's vehicle in a final confrontation; Madhavan saves Subramaniam and Thara, and kills Kulkarni. The minister and the middleman are arrested, and the show of force dispels the last vestiges of the contract-killing plot.

Madhavan serves a short term in prison for past misdeeds but is released for saving Subramaniam. He and Thara marry, and Bannerjee introduces two brothers-in-law as aides, which Madhavan approves after Subramaniam's approval, cementing the new family dynamics and hinting at future missions.
