In 2017, Takemichi learns that Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother Naoto have been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. The revelation drives him to change the future and protect them at any cost. During a brutal incident on a train platform, he is pushed and inexplicably transported twelve years into the past, landing in 2005.

Arriving in 2005, Takemichi reconnects with Naoto and reveals the exact date Hinata and Naoto die. Naoto records the warning and Takemichi learns firsthand the stakes of meddling with time. He begins to map out the mission he must accomplish in the past.

When Takemichi and Naoto shake hands, he is suddenly transported back to the present, creating a time paradox that preserves Naoto's life and turns him into a detective. The paradox confirms that every handshake sends Takemichi twelve years into the past. Takemichi realizes the past can be altered, but only through coordinated actions.

Back in the present, Takemichi resolves to save Hinata. He acknowledges that the future he saw is fragile and dependent on his actions. He prepares to return to the past, carrying knowledge from the future.

Takemichi returns to the past and discovers that his friends are forced into underground fights led by Kiyomasa. Mikey earns Takemichi's respect as a strong but unpredictable leader. The dangerous environment reveals how fragile his friends' safety really is.

Mikey's new friendship with Takemichi keeps Akkun from going to prison in the past. Akkun, overwhelmed by the consequences, ultimately commits suicide out of fear. Takemichi realizes that protecting friends in Toman comes with brutal consequences.

Toman declares war on the rival Moebius to avenge a friend's death, escalating the gang conflict. Takemichi watches as the war reshapes loyalties and puts his friends in greater danger. The stakes rise as battles spill into the streets.

Peh-yan colludes with Moebius out of anger toward Mikey and Draken for Pah-chin's arrest, while Kiyomasa stabs Draken, forcing his exile from Toman. The internal power struggle within Toman intensifies as the group fractures. Takemichi realizes time is running out to avert catastrophe.

Toman defeats their opponents, and Takemichi defeats Kiyomasa, ensuring Draken's hospitalization. The victory steepens Mikey's leadership role while the gang bears heavier costs. Draken's condition remains a critical thread through the aftermath.

Draken begins to recover from his injuries as Peh-yan offers a personal apology for his actions. The crew threads together a fragile reconciliation, hinting at a more stable future. Takemichi's efforts appear to be producing tangible changes in the timeline.

Takemichi travels back to the present timeline and goes to Hinata's house to meet Naoto, where he finally encounters Hinata in the present. Naoto remains alive, thanks to the time-loop, while Hinata's fate has shifted but remains uncertain. The time-paradox closes as Takemichi clings to hope for a better future.
