Amidst their admiration for the film star Tad Hamilton, the audience is drawn into the chaotic reality of his off-screen life, where his agent describes Tad's reckless behavior: > "drinking, driving, smoking, leering, and groping all at once." Convinced that his untamed lifestyle is ruining his reputation and career, Tad's team devises a plan to rehabilitate his image through a fan competition that offers a date with him, all while raising funds for the charity Save the Children.
