Four couples, who are also close friends, gather at a mountain house for their annual retreat intended to help them address their relationship struggles and ponder the question, “Why did I get married?” While the commitment to being together is strong, emotional disconnects linger beneath the surface, creating an atmosphere ripe for unfolding drama.

As the couples make their way to the retreat, the journey is marked by tension and conflict. The first pair, Diane and Terry (Tyler Perry), find themselves locked in an argument as Diane prioritizes work calls over spending quality time with Terry during their drive. Meanwhile, Angela (Tasha Smith) and Marcus (Michael Jai White) take public transport, bickering incessantly with anyone who dares to interfere. Sheila (Jill Scott), facing challenges of her own, is delayed due to seating issues on her flight and must tackle a long snowy drive, while her husband, Mike (Richard T.
