Wanted

At around 15 years old, Raja ambushes the gangster duo Killu and Billu in Chalsa, avenging his murdered parents. The brutal deed earns him the epithet Terror of Chalsa and sets him on a path toward the criminal underworld. After killing them, he flees to Kolkata to escape retribution.

Raja escapes the countryside and reaches Kolkata, where he aligns himself with the crime boss Sadhu and becomes part of his network. He also forges a working relationship with Joy, who will become his ally and companion in further criminal ventures. The bond marks the start of his ascent in the city underworld.

A major bank burglary coordinated by Sadhu is carried out at night, showcasing Raja's growing involvement in high-stakes crime. Sadhu is arrested after Aslaam, his right-hand man, betrays him by alerting the police. Raja and Joy manage to escape, continuing to evade law enforcement.

In jail, Raja eliminates the officer who accompanied Aslaam, eliminating a potential obstacle and breaking free with Joy. The act intensifies the feud with the police and cements Raja's reputation for ruthlessness. They vanish into the city, leaving no clear trail.

As grown man, Raja tracks down Aslaam at a bazaar in Kidderpore and shoots him, fulfilling his vow for revenge. He again escapes with Joy, maintaining their partnership in the criminal world. This murder deepens the cycle of vengeance haunting him.

Amarnath Ganguly, a party leader, hatches a plan to stage an attempted assassination to gain sympathy votes. His associate Shubhankar Banerjee arranges a meeting with Raja to seal the false murder, and Raja demands ₹1.50 crores as the price. The deal takes place as part of a dangerous political game that intertwines with Raja's criminal world.

During the attempted assassination, Ganguly is shot by an unseen assailant. The police quickly appraise the housing complex and close in on the skyscraper where the crime was to unfold. Raja attempts to escape as a car crash disrupts the moment, and a passing train provides a daring exit by lowering a rope onto the moving train.

While aboard the train, Raja meets Shibu, who reveals his flight from his village of Ganganagar and his intention to return home. Their bartering of past lives hints at a deeper connection and a future alliance. The encounter plants new emotional stakes in Raja's journey.

At Kharagpur station, police close in on Raja and Shibu is shot, leaving Raja to flee toward Ganganagar. In a twist of fate, Shibu's family regards Raja as their own missing son and welcomes his presence. Pooja, Shibu's would-be fiancée, grows fond of Raja, complicating loyalties.

CBI officer Salim Ali Khan investigates Ganguly's murder and suspects Raja, soon discovering a Shibu-Raja connection and focusing attention on Joy as a possible conspirator. Raja manages to stay one step ahead by thwarting fingerprint attempts and leaving misleading clues.

In Ganganagar, a wedding for Shibu's niece brings the investigation closer to home as the authorities close ranks. Raja evades capture by slipping through the crowd while the CBI shifts its focus from the groom to the broader conspiracy. The tense family moment underscores the personal costs of Raja's life.

Raja confronts Shubhankar Banerjee and obtains a recording of their conversation in which Banerjee admits Joy's role in Ganguly's murder. Banerjee refuses to acknowledge solid proof, and Raja uses the recording to threaten exposure.

Raja tracks Joy to an old church and confronts him with the loaded gun. When the police barge in, Raja shoots Joy and also eliminates the officers who had killed Shibu, ending Joy's deceit. He hands the incriminating recording to Khan.

With the truth exposed, Banerjee commits suicide, unable to face the consequences of his actions. Khan offers Raja liberty on the condition that he renounce crime, and Raja agrees. He returns to Shibu's family and sets off toward Ganganagar with Pooja, choosing a peaceful life.
