Voice of Sathyanathan

Sathyanathan wakes to police on his verandah and is taken for interrogation. A hidden webcam streams the session to another room in the station, where officials misinterpret his rivalry as threats against the President of India. He is questioned about his feud with the panchayat president.

The DYSP in the other room translates the interrogation and stumbles on Sathyanathan's statements. They reinterpret his remarks as directed at the President, not the panchayat president. Sathyanathan is moved to another interrogation room and cannot prove his innocence.

Sathyanathan is jailed for a few days and meets Balan, a man accused of killing 50 people. He tries to win Balan over, but ends up annoying him. Balan recounts the tragedy that led to his own imprisonment, including the bus bombing that affected his family.

With his reputation ruined at home, Sathyanathan resolves to shift to Mumbai to start over. He believes a fresh start could salvage his life and finally clear his name.

Sathyanathan is traced to Mumbai and detained in Mumbai Central Jail. There he meets Saahi Bhai, a terrorist who initially underestimates him. A police officer warns Saahi Bhai to steer clear because of Sathyanathan's alleged connections to an attack on the President.

Sathyanathan is released and soon becomes linked to Saahi Bhai, who had been released earlier. He stays with Saahi Bhai for 1–2 days, and Saahi Bhai hands him a phone to contact if Nambiar interrogates him.

Sathyanathan returns to Kerala by train and is met at the platform by two police officers. The DYSP interrogates him again, with Sathyanathan insisting he was simply looking for houses to rent. He is detained once more, his new life in Mumbai seeming far away.

In jail again, Balan explains what happened to him and why he believes Sathyanathan can help free him. The tale reinforces Sathyanathan’s resolve to seek justice and clear Balan's name in court.

Sathyanathan watches news footage of the Aluva bus stop where the explosion occurred and spots the terrorist leader. He heads to the police to report what he knows and push for justice for himself and Balan.

The team travels to Mumbai to catch Tango, the bomb-maker, and interrogates him. During the operation, Saahi Bhai calls Sathyanathan to meet him in an abandoned area, where a tense confrontation ensues.

Sathyanathan is lured into Saahi Bhai's trap, but Nambiar and the team intervene just as Saahi Bhai tries to threaten them with bombs. Nambiar shoots Saahi Bhai, and Sathyanathan is devastated to witness a killer die in front of him.

The court identifies Balan as innocent and he reunites with his daughter. Sathyanathan’s drive to seek justice pays off, and the narrative sets him up for a final vindication.

The President arrives in Sathyanathan's hometown, and Sathyanathan watches on TV as the President praises him for trying to bring justice to Balan. An email trail corroborates his actions, and his reputation is fully restored.
