Voice of Sathyanathan

Sathyanathan [Dileep] runs a small furniture shop and is known for a sharp, sometimes sharp-tongued wit that keeps getting him into trouble. He shares a contentious rivalry with his neighbour Tabala Varkeychan [Siddique] and constantly butts heads with the panchayat president [Johny Antony], turning everyday life into a brewing clash of egos. One morning, a police team arrives at his verandah to escort him to the station, and the whole encounter unfolds in a way that feels ordinary at first but quickly spirals. The interrogation is filmed by a hidden webcam on the officer’s table, and the live feed is watched from another room in the station. As Sathyanathan explains the long-standing feud, the DYSP and the other officials translate his words, and a shocking misreading occurs: they interpret his threats as aimed at the President of India [Anupam Kher], who is due to visit their town.
