Vinayagam, Ajith Kumar, is a brave man who leads his four brothers—Murugan, Shanmugham, Kumaran, and Senthil—in the town of Oddanchatram in Dindigul district. The brothers are tightly bonded, often finding themselves in scrapes that land them in trouble with the law, only to be bailed out by the sharp-tongued Advocate Bail Perumaal. Vinayagam harbors a wary view of marriage, convinced it could disrupt the harmony among his siblings, even as each younger brother keeps a secret romance close to their chests.

The brothers discover, through Vinayagam’s childhood friend and Collector Subbu, that Vinayagam once loved a girl named Kopperundevi—often called Koppu—in school. They hatch a plan to locate her again and rekindle his romance, but soon learn that the original Kopperundevi is now married with children. Undeterred, they pivot to finding another Kopperundevi who shares the same name, hoping the coincidence might rekindle Vinayagam’s heart. When Vinayagam finally meets a new Kopperundevi, he finds himself falling for her. Kopperundevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, becomes the woman who challenges and changes his outlook.

Peace in the village is threatened by a ruthless goon named Aadalarasu, Atul Kulkarni. Aadalarasu’s backstory reveals a vendetta rooted in past violence: his father, Aavudaiyappan, was implicated in a factory blast and died after a violent confrontation with law enforcement. Aavudaiyappan, Avinash, is remembered by Aadalarasu as the man who triggered years of grievance, fueling his son’s resolve to exact revenge on Nallasivam, the elder who advocates harmony. Vinayagam learns that Aadalarasu’s rise is tied to a history of fear and aggression that now puts Nallasivam’s family in danger.

Adding to the danger, a formidable foe named Vanangamudi casts a long shadow over the town. Vanangamudi’s presence escalates the stakes as he targets the village market, and in a fierce sequence Vinayagam kidnaps Vanangamudi’s son in a bid to restrain the threat. Pradeep Ram Singh Rawat embodies Vanangamudi, a name that becomes a symbol of violence the brothers must confront.

The tension deepens when Vinayagam and Kopperundevi travel to her village, Kaveripattinam in Krishnagiri. Kopperundevi shares her family history, including the peacemaking legacy of her father, Nallasivam, a man who hates violence and strives for a peaceful coexistence. Nallasivam, played by Nassar, is a pillar of the community, and his perspective helps shapeVinayagam’s evolving sense of responsibility. The reunion with Kopperundevi’s family becomes a test of loyalty, courage, and the willingness to protect loved ones at any cost.

The climactic confrontation culminates in Aadalarasu’s defeat, and the town witnesses the extraordinary lengths to which Vinayagam will go to defend those he loves. Moved by Vinayagam’s steadfastness, Nallasivam blesses the union between Vinayagam and Kopperundevi, cementing a future built on trust and protection.
