Veeram

Vinayagam is a brave man who lives with his four brothers in Oddanchatram. They frequently get into brawls, and Bail Perumaal bails them out whenever legal trouble arises. Their volatile peace is a constant in the town.

Vinayagam dislikes marriage, and his brothers scheme to find a girl from his school days, Koperundevi, to reintroduce to him. They hope rekindling an old memory might soothe the household they share. The plan hinges on the chance of meeting her again.

The brothers discover that the Koperundevi from Vinayagam's past is now married with kids. Realizing the name alone still entices him, they decide to search for another woman named Koperundevi to use as a hook. They hope a different Koppu might capture his heart just by name.

Vinayagam clashes with the goon Vanangamudi while defending the village market. In the confrontation, he abducts Vanangamudi's son, escalating the feud. The act results in Vanangamudi being banished from the town.

On a train to Koppu's village in Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri, Koppu explains her family background to Vinayagam. A gang of goons boards the train and Vinayagam defeats them, exposing his violent side. The encounter unsettles Koppu, who leaves Vinayagam upon reaching her village.

Vinayagam and his brothers arrive at Koppu's village with a clean-shaven look to show a changed man. He declares he has left violence behind, and his sets out to prove it. The family there receives them with warmth and acceptance.

Vinayagam learns that Aadalarasu intends to kill Nallasivam and his family. He resolves to intervene and fight to protect them. The threat centers around the central jail where Aadalarasu's operations are concentrated.

Aadalarasu reveals his father, Aavudaiyapan, was responsible for the blast of a matchstick factory. Nallasivam had filed a complaint against him, and Aavudaiyapan killed himself by jumping in front of a lorry after being arrested. Aadalarasu witnessed this and swore revenge on Nallasivam.

Vinayagam pledges to shield Nallasivam's family and begins dismantling the goons and solving problems without notifying Nallasivam. His actions demonstrate his growing willingness to intervene beyond his brothers' protection. The town witnesses a silent, unofficial campaign of justice.

Nallasivam's granddaughter discovers an aruval under Vinayagam's jeep, alarming the family. In response, Nallasivam orders Vinayagam to leave the town for safety, signaling a rift between Vinayagam's protective instincts and the family's acceptance.

Aadalarasu, once spared from the death penalty, arrives to kill Nallasivam and his kin and manages to kidnap Kumaran. Vinayagam remains determined to rescue him and protect the family despite the danger.

Vinayagam reaches the scene in time to save Kumaran as Aadalarasu attacks. Nallasivam and the family arrive, witnessing Vinayagam's bravery and the risks he took to protect them. The confrontation ends with Vinayagam killing Aadalarasu and his henchmen.

Impressed by Vinayagam's valor, Nallasivam approves the marriage. Vinayagam and Koppu are married with great pomp, symbolizing a new harmony for the brothers and their families.
