In a mystical forest, unicorns and wild animals live together in harmony. This period of tranquility represents the natural balance of the ecosystem before things take a dark turn.

A group of bears stumbles upon a sacred text hidden in the ruins of an ancient church. This forbidden book grants them human-like thoughts and emotions, initiating their rise to civilization.

Over generations, the bears evolve into teddy bear-like creatures, developing a culture and society. This transformation reflects their desire to nurture the forest they inhabit.

Tensions escalate as the bears' deforestation campaigns prompt hostility from the unicorns. Feeling threatened, the unicorns are pushed to retaliate, marking the beginning of a fierce war.

Amidst the chaos, the bears believe that their chosen one must drink the blood of the last unicorn to summon a god-like entity. This belief injects a frenzied desperation into the conflict.

Drill Sergeant Caricias begins training a new squad of soldiers, including brothers Gordi and Azulín. Under his guidance, they are instilled with a bitter hatred for unicorns by a priest.

Motivated by jealousy towards his top recruit rival Coco, Azulín's feelings spiral out of control. This culminates in a tragic act of poisoning that leads to their mother's untimely death.

The troop embarks on a mission into the forest to locate a missing squad, led by Sergeant Caricias and the Priest. They soon discover bioluminescent glowworms, which they mistakenly decide to eat.

The glowworms are hallucinogenic, causing horrifying visions and resulting in the loss of two recruits. The troop then uncovers the gruesome dismembered remains of their missing comrades.

In a moment of uncontrollable rage, the troop kills a lone unicorn they encounter. This brutal act incites a violent counterattack from other unicorns, leading to significant losses for the bears.

In a fit of rage, Azulín murders the wounded Coco, resorting to cannibalism in a horrific moment. This act of betrayal permanently alters his psyche, pushing him further into darkness.

Azulín severely injures a unicorn filly named María while another unicorn retaliates and severely injures him. This brutal encounter reshapes Azulín's physical and emotional scars.

After being rescued and treated by fellow troops, Azulín becomes renowned as a hero. He is decorated and promoted, receiving a mask to conceal his disfigured face from the battles.

Emboldened by his new status, Azulín leads a devastating coup and gathers the bear army for an all-out assault on the forest. The unicorns unite in a desperate bid to protect their realm.

In a chaotic final battle, nearly all bears and unicorns perish, leaving only Azulín, Gordi, and María. In a twisted culmination of his prophecy, Azulín drinks María's blood, unleashing a terrifying transformation.
