Eight centuries ago, a fierce blood feud erupted between the Vampires and the Lycans. This conflict was centered around two brothers, Markus and William, the first Vampire and Lycan, respectively, marking the beginning of a tragedy that would haunt their families.

In 1202, William's reckless actions transformed an entire village into Lycans, prompting the Vampires to take drastic measures. Viktor, one of the powerful vampire elders, insisted that William needed to be dealt with to contain the threat.

After capturing William Corvinus, the original werewolf, Viktor commanded that he be imprisoned eternally. This decision came from a fear of William's uncontrollable nature, as he was the first pure werewolf, and the Vampires wanted to prevent further chaos.

In present day, Selene is determined to unveil the truth behind Viktor's death. She seeks out Markus, who has been in hibernation, to uncover the secrets surrounding the ancient conflicts of Vampires and Lycans.
