Detective Nick DiMarco is Kristi's ally and the primary police contact aiding the pursuit of Stingray. He collaborates with Kristi, Jennifer, and Mike to track down the kidnapper and rescue Jennifer and Kristi's sister. Stingray is an underground fighter whose psychotic break is triggered by abandonment and past trauma after his ex-wife Anna. He abducts women who resemble his ex-wife and tortures them, including Jennifer, and is eventually confronted by Kristi and Nick. Jennifer Simmons is a psychiatry tutor involved in Kristi's sister's life; she becomes a target when Stingray abducts her after helping with Kristi's plan.
