Dhana, the only daughter of a wealthy landlord, lost her mother at a young age. Her father remarried, but Dhana faced neglect from her stepmother, leading to an emotionally distant childhood. Her only affection came from her childhood friend Balaji, who eventually left after her schooling.

After her father's death, Dhana inherited a vast property worth over ₹50 crore. Her mother, who saw her wealth, wanted to marry her against Dhana's wishes, causing further family conflict. Dhana decided to escape from her family home to avoid unwanted marriage.

Dhana escapes her family house and seeks refuge in her friend's home in Hyderabad to escape the pressures and threats from her stepmother. She begins to build her independence away from her troubled past.

While in Hyderabad, Dhana encounters Aravind, a carefree young man who owns a garage. He quickly develops feelings for her, but Dhana remains conflicted as she confesses her love for Balaji from Kolkata.

When Dhana's stepmother attempts to abduct her, Aravind intervenes with help from the police, helping her escape. This act of bravery brings them closer and leads to her confiding her childhood love for Balaji.

Dhana reveals to Aravind her love for Balaji, but he decides to leave for Kolkata to find employment. During a train journey, Dhana misses her train and is helped by Aravind to reach Kolkata to meet Balaji.

While in Kolkata, Aravind gets severely injured in a criminal attack meant to frame Dhana in a narcotics case. Aravind then takes Dhana to meet Balaji at his house, hoping to reconcile her feelings.

Just as Dhana prepares to marry Balaji with her stepmother’s approval, she discovers that the Balaji she met is a fake created by her stepmother to deceive her, causing her heartbreak and confusion.

During the confrontation, Dhana realizes she is in love with Aravind, not Balaji. Aravind comes to her rescue again, solidifying their bond amid the chaos of the false relationship and familial manipulations.

In a final twist, Dhana and Aravind encounter Balaji and his fiancée. Shocked by the situation, Dhana faints, overwhelmed by her true feelings, leading Aravind to tactically leave with her to start a new life.
