Tom and Jerry: Robin Hood and His Merry Mouse

Robin Hood and his Merry Men stage a bold ambush on a tax convoy moving through Sherwood Forest. The plan hinges on timing, but Jerry’s warning allows Robin to strike first and seize the gold transport. The ambush sets the tone for the escalating pursuit by the Sheriff and Prince John.

Following the ambush, the Sheriff of Nottingham deduces that Robin uses Jerry as a courier for a spy inside the castle. He orders Tom to capture Jerry and coax the traitor into revealing his network. The discovery raises the stakes as Robin’s group becomes a hunted target.

That night, Robin asks Jerry to deliver a love poem to Marian, Robin’s confidante and love interest. Marian is at the castle, guarded by Tom who tries to keep the mouse at bay. The mission grows riskier as Jerry inches toward the inner rooms.

The Sheriff devises a plan to capture Robin at a staged archery tournament, using Marian’s kiss as added bait. Robin, with some hesitation, signs up and enters the contest. Tom closes in, hoping to trap the informant by forcing a confrontation with Jerry.

Jerry is chased by Tom while delivering a ring of love from Robin to Marian, and in the chaos the clever mouse accidentally helps Robin win the tournament. The Sheriff unmasks Jerry and Robin, and their Merry Men are captured. The castle’s guards tighten their grip as the heroes face imprisonment.

Jerry, the last Merry Man aside from Spike, Tyke and Friar Droopy, slips into the castle to free his companions, but Tom discovers him and they clash in Marian’s room. The Sheriff arrives during the struggle and Marian is arrested, revealing herself as Robin’s informer.

Tom captures Jerry, but news reaches John and the Sheriff that King Richard is returning from the Crusades much earlier than expected.

John and the Sheriff hatch a plan to ambush and kill Richard before he lands, and they also decide to execute Marian for treachery.

Tom revokes his loyalty to John, frees Jerry, and teams up with him to help free Robin and the Merry Men from prison. The unlikely alliance begins a renewed counterplot to survive until Richard’s arrival.

Spike, Tyke and Friar Droopy slip into the castle unchallenged to free Marian, with Spike leading the way and Friar Droopy providing support. Their rescue restores hope to the embattled group.

Spike discovers the location of John’s ambush, and Tom, Jerry, Robin and the others surge to the rescue. They move through the castle corridors to reach their imprisoned allies.

They arrive just in time to thwart the assassination, forcing John and the Sheriff to close in for a final confrontation. The castle becomes a battleground as loyalties prove costly and perilous.

As Robin and Richard stand vulnerable, Tom and Jerry engage the two traitors in a sword duel that buys Robin and Richard the moment they need to regroup. The tide turns in their favor with the capture and demise of the conspirators.

Richard returns to his throne, Robin and Marian are married, and Tom and Jerry are knighted for loyalty and service. In a light moment, Jerry accidentally strikes Tom with his sword during a chase, but Tom forgives him and they ride off with their newfound honors.
