Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru

After topping the police training at T.N.P.S.C., Theeran returns to his hometown Thanjavur. He falls in love with his neighbor Priya and they marry, starting a stable life before a brutal dacoity on a highway shocks the town. These early years establish his zealous, hands-on approach to policing.

Following his marriage, Theeran is posted to Ponneri to tackle the dacoity case that has stymied his earlier efforts. He works with Inspector Sathya, but the investigation stalls and the case languishes under bureaucratic indifference. The early years earn him a reputation for persistence more than for a solved case.

By 2003, Theeran, Sathya, and a larger police team travel across India trying to match the dacoits' fingerprints. They discover the band comprises tribal remnants from after Indian Independence, and progress halts due to the neglect of superiors. The case remains open, haunting them as they chase elusive leads.

In 2003, the dacoits raid the home of a ruling party MLA, triggering widespread public pressure. The government empowers Theeran with a larger mandate and a dedicated team to nab the gang.

A fingerprint match leads them to a prison in Uttar Pradesh, and the chase intensifies as the gang heads toward Ponneri. The pursuit draws in more officers and heightens the stakes.

During the same year, Sathya's wife is killed in a dacoit raid on his house, Priya falls into a coma, and Theeran's personal tragedy hardens his resolve to crush the gang. The losses deepen his commitment to justice.

With higher-ups backing him, Theeran assembles a team and camps in Rajasthan to draw Oma out, while most gang members remain in their village. His strategy combines field work with local cooperation to corner the criminals.

Priya's death further fuels Theeran's determination, and he learns of a plan to lure Oma onto a train infiltrated by his team. The mission becomes a high-stakes operation intended to trap Oma.

The team infiltrates Oma's village to field their trap, while Oma's gang uses wolf-like hunting tactics to disrupt the settlement. They maneuver through a tense, claustrophobic chase that tests every officer.

A brutal night siege follows as Theeran's plan unfolds; he eliminates most of Oma's gang while Oma and Khali escape. The confrontation unfolds amid fires and chaos, testing the limits of the pursuing team.

Theeran pursues Oma through the night and finally subdues him, dragging the criminal back to Tamil Nadu to stand trial. The long pursuit ends with Oma behind bars and Theeran finally vindicated.

In 2017, Theeran is shown with a dull, uneventful post in the traffic vigilance department and lives alone. Sathya and his daughter visit him, and Sasi recognizes his long service and publicly acknowledges his legacy.

That same year, Sasi, tasked with digitizing documented cases, uncovers the spine-chilling dacoity murder file. He reads the history and reaches out to Theeran to recount the events, honoring his bravery and contribution to policing.
